I'm finding myself head over heels in love with the Bride of Christ.. well, it looks like hatred compared to my love for the Groom so we're all good.But I've got a growing obsession with the mission of the Church as a group of people and also as a divine institution....I'm quite tired but I have a couple quick thoughts.
A) Where are all the Christians during tha week? I'm thinking of all these gigantic churches we have throughout San Diego- Shadow Mountain, the Rock, Maranatha, Foothills, Calvary San Diego,Eastlake Community- each of those has like a MINIMUM of 2,000 people that attend it. thats a combined minimum of 12,000 "Christians" running around San Diego. and thats not even including the tiny churches that claim corners across the county.. but for reals..during the week where are they?
B)Note to self: when you take out High School Girls, drink plenty of coffee ahead of time and ALWAYS bring another leader to keep you entertained on a sane level.
C) the more I nanny, the more I propagate an intense desire to marry and bear children immediately. It's almost unhealthy.
D)I miss Christa <3
E) most importantly, I am perhaps the most blessed woman ever. and My God supplies ALL my needs and deepens me richly in the Word and sharpens me even with the most unlikely of friends. I am so blessed.
