Nine-Eleven

Tenth anniversary of a tragedy that took too many lives, of an event the bound the nation together, of the first time I truly wondered about the sovereignty of God..
Was He really in control or just watching us emplode from His distant throne? Did He really see and know and understand and ALLOW this hurt to the multitudes of this "Christian" nation?
But then again, what does a little seventh grader know? After all, I was predominately concerned that my stepmom was going to make me late for school cuz she couldn't peel her eyes off the tv! But low and behold, it was here that I began to push past acknowledging God's sovereignty to curiosity to eventually the appreciation,love & dependence I now feel:)
God is personal,compassionate,understanding, patient, kind, just and completely and totally in control. He allows evil, but promises it won't overcome the Light. There is wrong, and sorrow and hurt--and wether or not you like it-- it magnifies His goodness, joy,strength and absolute control.
I am reminded again, my hope must be entirely in God. He IS that something better, that Bread of life and Living Water.. He is Savior, He IS what He offers and He is sure, trust worthy and altogether good!
