I am in biology, perhaps not the best blogging ethics to be posting while in class.. Oh well.
We are doing an Anatomy overview unit which is funny only because I have already taken a semester and a half of straight in depth anatomy. Not to mention three semesters of pre-medical training.. it makes this section pleasant and allows me to reminisce on all the fond study groups, late night cramming and great people that I've encountered thus far in my college career.
I would have to say that the people I am currently surrounded by, including my not limited to the folks in this specific class, are some of the most greatly influential and incredible people I've known so far in life.
While at community college, hate to add to the sterotype, but.. quality and memorable people were few and far between. But in both my EMT program and CNA class I met some awesome and motivated people who taught me to study and go after things when I really want them. They learned alongside me in challenging situations with nothing but hope for our careers and laughs to get us through. Those were really good times. I learned a ton, that to this day I get to use and re study..
On top of that, the people I have met while in college in a non-academic setting: people in ministries, strangers, kindred spirits, teachers and new friends. God is good to keep me always surrounded by people I can learn from, get to know better and provoke to love and good works.
It just goes to show how God knows entirely what we need. Beyond that He faithfully provides me these instances and people even when I am faithless or longing in other directions. His intentional goodness toward me and His refreshing mercies upon my soul put me in nothing less than shock and awe. I love it!
This reminds me of this one time in peru...
Okay now!
