In the same way, this November I am able to rejoice in faithfulness because it is our third November serving monthly at Fredericka Manor.
Each month a small percentage of our students lay aside typical Saturday morning plans and join us for a time of leading worship, greeting and fellowship through crafts and snacks and walks with the residents at a local convalescent home.
This month, as we talked with them about the things they are thankful for- all eight of their children by name, a healthy appetite, that they might soon get to go live with their family, the wonderful years of marriage they had with their spouse, our country and especially the sweet talks we had of thankfulness to God- I rejoiced that God made and keeps on making us faithful to this ministry.
I have never know how long we'll be there or why we have so much favor with the center's leadership, but I am thankful each month God has us back there and the beautiful moments we experience while serving there.
I pray God gives us the faithfulness to be there another November!
