But, this year I went and enjoyed it so much more..thanks to coffee and the trail mix and water I stashed in my purse.
I like to shop. I like to save. I like to caffeinate. I like to people watch-- black Friday offers it all.
But what I really enjoyed more about spending my thanksgiving evening and early Friday morning in lines with the determination of treasure hunters was simply who I was with.
I sound like a gushy jr.higher but I am so blessed by the people I get to call friends and by how they can incredibly become closer than family even.
11 hours of shopping later, I didn't buy much. Actually, i purchased more via amazon.com while I was in line than at the mall or wal mart-- I support book buying and giving for presents..yup, I'm THAT auntie:) all good women support reading- haven't you ever seen any of the Love Comes Softy movies?
