The collection continues..

Call me crazy, but children's book collection is growing and I love it. It really makes babysitting more than babysitting..a good book& a healthy perspective make all my time with children ministry and because of that I'm growing to love these books even more!
I really really must encourage all parents to go through "God's Names" by Sally Michael with their kids and indulge them in a thought provoking tale in Sproul's "The Prince's Poison Cup" :)
What wonder and bliss and truth!
What am I missing? Do you know of any God-honoring, Gospel-centered books for kids that I should add to my collection??

  1. You may have these already but here are a couple that came to my mind, some are gospel centered others are just good, moral stories:
    - The Princess and the Kiss
    - The Flight of Orville Wright, Caterpillar
    - Dangerous Journey: the story of pilgrim's progress
    - His Mighty Warrior
    - The Story About Ping

  2. I love this idea. my friend Heather is having a baby shower and she wants us all to bring a book for the babies library! what is a good one you would suggest?

  3. Well, I'm pretty sure Heather has most of those.. you can look on her blog. cuz she writes about kids books frequently. but for sure, if she doesn't have "God's Names" by Sally Michael from Children Desiring God then for sure that one. The Lightlings by RC Sproul is awesome.. Sproul has quite a few and they are definitely about the Gospel :)
