Tales of Tuesday

Today was quite the day! It was a sweet taste of what my summer may have been if I hadn't agreed to the nanny job; however, I'm still having baby withdrawls! I woke up and headed to VBS where the kids all got to learn the Ten Commandments today.. Tomorrow we keep learning about sin and more important the Gospel of Jesus! I'm very excited for this! Apparently, there are many songs to learn the 10 Commandments, I always memorized the hand motions to learn them in order.. But a good alternative may be the "Ten Commandment Boogie" by Go Fish.. Go Fish is a group of Dad's that have become the Christan version of the Wiggles. I am still not sure how I feel about them, though I am digging their VBS curriculum.
After VBS and rehearsing for tomorrow's skit and teaching I finally made it to the thrift store for some good retail therapy :) Alicia has been telling me the wonders of a few good shops in the hood, which I am completely sold on now.. If only I had a house, or an apartment, or hadn't traded the big room to my little brother! ha :)
