In twenty

I've got a class in twenty minutes, but I also have a quick thought to tell you that was more meaningful than eating lunch. If you know me, you know that's BIG deal. hehe!
Do you ever have alternate reality instances like Zach Braff in Scrubs..you know where he tilts his head and all of sudden everyone is singing their lines cabberet style and so on.
Well I have them continually. Most of the time they aren't as funny as on Scrubs (those writers are gifted!)Last night I was in a deep conversation about ministering to girls ( Jr. high- college age) and I had one of those moments.
Where all the kids wanted to learn and rushed to my beautifully decorated office and ask me deep spiritual questions that I knew the answers to while I poured them small mugs of hot tea-Almond Spice flavor..yummm.
Sadly that is not the case. I tilted my head back towards reality and felt a frown fall on my face.
Today through the Word I was reminded that God doesn't succumb to my expectations of operation. And generally speaking He provides and provokes from way outta left field if you ask me.
But that's the BEAUTIFUL part. It's real. It's good. and it's always always Him moving and working and not dependent whatsoever on my way..
And I'm here to say i love that. I'm thankful for it.

PS. I bought a plane ticket to Thailand..leaving the day after Christmas! weeeeeeeeee! ( more on that later..see tithing blog :) )
